The PowerBridge PBBWP Bulk Wire Pass-Thru Wall Plate: Simple DIY Cable Management
This unique wall plate design provides for easier installation with a removable nose that gives installers a selectable profile. The PowerBridge PBBWP is a new 2 piece bulk cable wall plate, designed to fit a single standard J-box/wall ring (not included) and to accommodate pass-thru for HDMI, DVI, and VGA cables making it perfect for LCD, plasma screens, and other wall mounted devices.
What Is PowerBridge?
PowerBridge's selection of in-wall power products function as a specialized "extension-cord" system when installed with code-compliant in-wall rated power-wire into an existing power-outlet. Designed as a plug-in type device, PowerBridge is a 2-part wall plate system with 1" recessed PowerOUT receptacle for the TV to plug into and allow additional clearance to mount the TV closer to the wall. This is directly wired to the specially designed PowerIN wall plate, where the supplied power-cord is plugged into from existing power.
Just need a simple way to manage your AV cables? PowerBridge also has the solution with its selection of in-wall plates (like the PBBWP) that allow you to quickly and easily install pass-through for all your home theater cables.
Need a power and cable management solution? PowerBridge's Solution Kits have the best of both worlds, with power extensions and cable management pass-through plates. You can even buy optional Decora inserts (sold separately) for added functionality.
So no matter your need, if you've got an HDTV hanging on the wall, PowerBridge is the simple solution to create a professional custom-install look by yourself using just your basic tools.
Is PowerBridge Safe to Install?
PowerBridge products never make direct wired connections to the primary electrical premise-wire circuits--it doesn't add to, create a new circuit, change, or modify your existing wiring. Simply plug PowerBridge into the existing circuit from the front of any grounded outlet receptacle already rated for use to plug in an appliance such as your HDTV. So it's safe for any application.
