IMPORTANT NOTE: When using this product it is recommended that you use shielded CAT5/6 Wire.
Each HDMI output sits alongside Two Optional Category Outputs which allow you to connect to our ELE9090RX Receivers. The built in 2-CAT output is great when you've got HD requirements that exceed the recommended HDMI Cable length (Which is 65ft). By combining the ELE9090 with the ELE9090RX units you can transmit signals over two category cables at a distance of 130ft Cat5e and 160ft using Cat6.The other great part about this matrix is both of these HD outputs can be used in parallel, allowing for the use of either or both outputs for complete flexibility!
This piece allows up to four HDMI audio/video devices to be switched independently to four televisions, projectors, or several audio/video receivers.
Auto and Embedded (EDID) setting
While other matrix switches force you into settling for the lowest picture quality that's available. The ELE9090 avoids those "lowest common denominator" situations by allowing you to assign resolution on the network.
So how does it work?
We added a slick control system on the backside which allows you to simply assign resolution levels across your network and enable each monitor to receive and play the picture quality you choose for each output.
Multi Source IR Control
When using our ELE9090RX Category Receivers this matrix kicks into high gear and allows you to Intelligently route IR to the correct source with integrated IR routing capability. The IR data that is sent from the optional Dual CAT HDMI extenders will only select the output for a particular source, which is perfect for installations with multiple sources that may use the same IR commands.
It's nice to have Options!
If IR Control isn't your cup-of-tea…then you can control the unit by using the front panel buttons or by using RS-232 serial control.
